🌱

We believe in the possibility of recovery for every individual, and we work tirelessly to nurture hope as a central therapeutic tool.

The Biopsychosocial-Spiritual Model of Care

First described by Dr. George Engel, the Biopsychosocial Model is the globally recognized gold standard for psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment. We extend this framework with a fourth, equally vital dimension — the spiritual — in recognition that illness arises from a complex interaction of biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors, and that lasting recovery requires addressing all four simultaneously.

01

Biological Dimension

We address the neurochemical, genetic, and physiological underpinnings of mental illness and addiction through:

  • Comprehensive psychiatric and medical evaluation on admission
  • Supervised medical and drug detoxification
  • Evidence-based pharmacotherapy for all conditions
  • Laboratory investigations and physical health monitoring
  • Management of co-occurring medical conditions
  • Nutritional assessment and dietary rehabilitation
  • Sleep hygiene and physical wellness programs
  • Seizure disorder management and anticonvulsant therapy
02

Psychological Dimension

We explore the emotional, cognitive, and behavioural aspects of each patient's condition through structured therapy:

  • Individual psychotherapy (CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT)
  • Group psychotherapy and peer support sessions
  • Family therapy and systemic intervention
  • Psychoeducation for patients and caregivers
  • Trauma-informed care
  • Relapse prevention and coping skills training
  • Cognitive rehabilitation for neurocognitive impairment
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
03

Social Dimension

We rebuild the patient's social world, functional roles, and community connections through comprehensive rehabilitation:

  • Psychosocial rehabilitation and daily living skills training
  • Occupational rehabilitation, including sewing and tailoring
  • Computer appreciation training
  • Vocational and occupational rehabilitation
  • Family engagement and caregiver support programs
  • Community reintegration planning
  • Social welfare assessment and linkage to support services
  • Stigma reduction and mental health advocacy
  • Aftercare, follow-up, and alumni peer networks
  • Community outreach programs
04

Spiritual Dimension

We nurture meaning, purpose, and inner peace as a core part of healing, respecting each patient's individual faith and beliefs through:

  • Pastoral care and chaplaincy support
  • Prayer and spiritual counselling on request
  • Exploration of meaning, purpose, and hope in recovery
  • Values clarification and moral reconation support
  • Faith-based support groups
  • Respect for diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds
  • Facilitation of contact with patients' own faith leaders
  • Spiritual care integrated into relapse prevention planning
