Solution Rehabilitation Centre (SRC) is a flagship mental health initiative of the Anambra State Government, located in Nibo, Anambra South Senatorial District. Commissioned in 2026, the centre was established to address the critical gap in accessible, high-quality psychiatric and substance use rehabilitation services in the South-East geopolitical zone of Nigeria.
With an 80-bed capacity and a multidisciplinary team of 60 trained professionals, SRC is equipped to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for individuals living with substance use disorders, psychiatric conditions, and related neuropsychiatric illnesses.
The centre is supervised by the Anambra State Ministry of Health and operates in compliance with the standards of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
To be the leading centre of excellence for psychiatric and substance use rehabilitation in Nigeria, recognized for compassion, clinical excellence, and transformative outcomes.
To provide compassionate, evidence-based, and holistic care grounded in the Biopsychosocial-Spiritual Model, that restores dignity, health, and purpose to every individual we serve — one life at a time.
To bridge the mental health treatment gap in Anambra State and the South-East zone by delivering world-class psychiatric and rehabilitation services to all citizens, regardless of social or economic status.
We treat every patient with warmth, empathy, and respect, recognizing that mental illness and addiction are medical conditions — not moral failures.
We are committed to the highest standards of clinical practice, continuous professional development, and evidence-based care delivery.
We operate with transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in all our clinical, administrative, and community engagements.
We uphold the inherent worth of every individual in our care, ensuring a stigma-free, safe, and therapeutic environment at all times.
We work as a cohesive multidisciplinary team, partnering with families, communities, and institutions to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.
We believe in the possibility of recovery for every individual, and we work tirelessly to nurture hope as a central therapeutic tool.
First described by Dr. George Engel, the Biopsychosocial Model is the globally recognized gold standard for psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment. We extend this framework with a fourth, equally vital dimension — the spiritual — in recognition that illness arises from a complex interaction of biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors, and that lasting recovery requires addressing all four simultaneously.
We address the neurochemical, genetic, and physiological underpinnings of mental illness and addiction through:
We explore the emotional, cognitive, and behavioural aspects of each patient's condition through structured therapy:
We rebuild the patient's social world, functional roles, and community connections through comprehensive rehabilitation:
We nurture meaning, purpose, and inner peace as a core part of healing, respecting each patient's individual faith and beliefs through:
